The Lions Secret Santa’s back this year!If you would like to join in please could you let Emma know by Monday 30th November. All names will be put in a hat and we can draw names after training on Tuesday 1st December.You will all then need to bring your gifts with you to our last training session on Tuesday 22nd December .The limit to spend on a gift is £5.00 and please make sure you mark who the present is for without giving away who it is from! :0)If you are not able to make training on Tuesday 1st December then please let Emma know and she will make sure you are included.

Lions will be gracing the Ice at Parkers Piece on Saturday 21st November for this years Christmas Social. After Skating between 4 & 5pm we’ll then be heading off to the Gormet Burger Co. to refuel then meet any non skaters in the Avery at approx 7.30pm.

Kev, Skip & Tim have all taken control of the court in recent friendlies armed with a whistle and a set of red & yellow cards. Under the watchful eye of Andy Rutter, they are now fully fledged referees, and are starting to ref games in the Cambridge Leagues. |

This years tournament is being held on the 26th and 27th May (so you still get the bank holiday to enjoy!). As usual we will have a varied amount of teams joining us and come rain or shine we will have fun. We have great facilities in our sports centre with options of hot or cold food and a bar available!We have a great social planned for you all in the evening at the sports centre with onsite camping available so you don’t have far to crawl!Looking forward to seeing you all soon

In case you havn’t heard yet, there is a new quiz for sale to raise money for Lions. It’s the Album Covers Quiz – 90 pictures of album covers, with the titles and band names removed.The quiz costs £1, and first prize is £20. The closing date is the end of the month.However what we really need is for people to sell quizzes to their friends, family and workmates, so we can get some money from outside the club. If everyone sold 5 quizzes each, we’d make a reasonable amount of money. If everyone sold 10 each, we’d get twice as much…So buy a quiz for yourself, and take some to sell on. Hours of fun!There will be quizzes available this friday, from Cass, Skip or myself. We’ve sold enough already to cover the prize money, so each one sold from now on is profit. Every quiz sold will help us reach a respectable total, so I urge everyone to help out.Cheers,
